Oil Crop Development Limited is a private medium size seed company that deals in the research, production, processing and marketing of hybrid planting seed for various agro-ecological zones. The various varieties in these categories are marketed under the Faida Seeds® brand name and are distributed countrywide to our stockists from Nakuru, Kenya.

Our Mission

‘Faida' in Swahili means ‘profit' or ‘to benefit'. While we remain strong to serve small and large scale farmers, our mission is to supply quality seeds at affordable prices to ensure profitability for all our stakeholders. Using precise and thorough processing, we are committed to supplying the best quality agricultural inputs and envisage Faida Seeds® to be the preferred supplier in Kenya.
